Fastrek
A Simple Strategy Game for Kids
Cooperative Game
Playing cooperative games is a great way to teach kids importance of teamwork. Working as a team is an important yet difficult skill that parents want to teach their kids. It's an essential social skill that help kids master other necessary skills like, problem solving, strategy building, planning a step ahead, required for their development in those early years of life.
How to Play!!
Fastrek is a cooperative board game that teaches kids how to play and think together as a team. This game takes you on an adventurous trek where you have to fight shape monsters, complete tasks to collect various camping essentials and reach your campsite before it gets dark. Kids have to make a winning strategy together as a team and complete the tasks by mutual cooperation. Kids will also learn to coordinate with other players and work towards a common goal - everyone wins together.

Our Story
Hello- I’m Swati, I along with my 2 kids are the game designers of Fastrek. I want to share with you a behind-the-scenes story of how Fastrek came to life.It all started during Covid in 2021 when my spouse told my kids that ‘we have bought enough games and they need to be creative and build their own pretend-play game’ – we never could have imagined the far-reaching consequence of this benign statement. Well, the kids took it literally and ended up creating their own game to begin with and seeing their interest and desire I jumped in to support them. From a mock-game built on a plain sheet of paper to the professionally designed game was quite a journey - It took us 2 years to work with teams across boundaries where the game was designed by our kids and I in Seattle and the graphics were designed in Manchester, UK and the game was finally manufactured in China. It would not have been possible for a mom of 2 to support their kids if not for the digital age we are in where nothing is impossible if you try hard enough. I am really grateful for where we are today and how amazing an experience this has been for my kids and I to bring something to life.Fastrek is a game that begins with a trek and ends at a campsite. This is something we always do in real life too; we go out on treks with our friends and camp together and it is always fun. That is the essence of the game and also how our kids picked up the idea.I am a believer that children should be encouraged to be curious and inquisitive but it takes effort to develop this critical life skill. Keeping this in mind, I always encourage structured play at home where kids can learn while playing. Involving your kids in meaningful play can help them develop many vital life skills. Additionally, I am always looking for games that are fun to play but at the same time help kids develop strategic thinking. Keeping all of this in mind we iterated over Fastrek and the final product is a game that is easy to understand for kids and needs strategic teamwork and cooperation between players to win collectively as a team. With all my heart I share with you this fun and engaging game of Fastrek which you can play with your kids on family game night or take along on your next camping trip.Hey! Don’t forget to Fastrek on your next camping trip.Zipree
